Much success to you and all your goals. Thank you so much for supporting and helping to make “Mental Diet” a success. Keep elevating and improving yourselves. I have some surprises in store. I had so much fun on this “Mental Diet” journey. I made people laugh, smile, angry, afraid and everything in between. It was definitely rewarding. I hope people get something from “Mental Diet”. I know they will. Again, thank you for the encouragement and taking the time to listen to a stranger spit recipes while you were relaxing, talking with someone or doing whatever else. Keep checking out the blog. I have some surprises on deck. Oh yeah, of course you can still buy “Mental Diet” from Dare Book Store (www.darebooks.com), Spoonbill and Sugartown, Booksellers (www.spoonbillbooks.com), True South Bookstore: 347-257-7330, McNally Jackson Bookstore (www.mcnallyjackson.com)
14 books left. You can still buy it in stores if you miss out.
Almost time to pack up shop. 24 issues left of “Mental Diet”.
Thank you all for attending “Night Of The Living Poet” last weekend @ The Nuyorican Poets Cafe. If you didn’t make it out, I read a few recipes from “Mental Diet”. It was cool. Peace to the owners of The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Senator Bravo, Supreme, Akeem, Pam and everybody else. I was the only one on my recipe vibe. And yes, “Mental Diet” is a collection of recipes not poems. Just in case you’re thinking, I knew they were poems and he told me they weren’t. He lied to me. lol.
51 copies/ maybe it’s 48 copies left. I lost count.
Shouts to Carmen Bravo-Curley for allowing me to read 3 to 4 recipes of “Mental Diet” this Saturday @ the Nuyorican poets cafe. There’ll be poets reading their pieces. Its from 7-9. Tickets are $15.
